As Republicans we are united in what we believe, because
history tells us that we have been right. And that is
why we must continue to espouse our beliefs and promote
our philosophy, in every community and every corner of
this State and nation.
We are Republicans because we believe in economic and
political freedom.
In limited government.
We believe in the individual.
And in personal responsibility.
We believe in respect.
For faith and religion.
For our elders.
For each and every child.
For those who achieve great things.
And those less fortunate.
We believe that much of what we have in life is what
we share.
That we should leave an environment to our children better than
we found it.
That every public school can and must succeed.
We believe that people must be held accountable for their actions.
But that no one is born bad.
We believe that America is a good country, a city on
a hill; not a tale of two cities.
That Lady Liberty stands in New York Harbor for a reason.
That she does lift her lamp beside the golden door.
That New Americans enrich our culture and strengthen
our economy.
And that all of us are blessed to live here.
Blessed to be Americans.
